2020 Multicultural Festival

2020 was a very unique and different year… Due to the lockdown and the Covid-19  pandemic, we hosted Whistler Multicultural Week online.

We spent the summer working with many different groups and individuals to create videos that we then presented via Zoom and Facebook live. People in the videos were on hand to introduce the videos and then answer questions afterwards.

Virtual presentations include from Japan, China, Morocco, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Chile, the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, Spain, the Philippines, El Salvador, New Zealand, Turkey…
